Dress Creative Shoot

This shoot was done last October on a bit of a chilly day. I wanted to do a shoot with a big fluffy dress in a location with lots of trees. Lexy helped my vision come to life!

She wore the most beautiful dress and was such a great sport. We walked around this gorgeous location finding great spots, the fallen tree being one of my favorites. Lexy is a natural in front of the camera! She is such a beautiful girl from the inside out. It was such a pleasure to have her model for me.

As a photographer it is important to do a few shoots for yourself. We are creatives and it can be easy to get in a funk if all we do is create the work for our clients. Do not get me wrong I love doing senior sessions, but we can only be so creative during these sessions. Doing creative sessions allow us to completely control the shoot and create something unique. As creatives we need these moments to really go out and create something from our hearts and solely for us! It is what helps us enjoy what we do and not get into a funk. I cannot wait to do more creative shoots this year!
